- Gravity in Minecraft? - Wired picks a video showing physics experiment in Minecraft and check the maths accompanied by their own suggestions.
- Conducting Real Science Experiments in a Virtual World - The Education Scientist and his sidekick Swifty7777 use science to test the claim that you catch more fish in the rain than on a clear day in Minecraft. The results are surprising! Teachers and parents can download the micro-curriculum to replicate the experiment with their kids and compare results - just like real scientists do.

- Minecraft at SAA - Battlefields and & Specials Project tasked the students to research Civil War battlefields and recreate them in Minecraft. The post includes links to the project videos.

- Massively Misunderstood Minecraft - Keri-Lee Beasley writes about Minecraft as an educational resource for learning a broad range of skills from collaboration to leadership, illustrated by some great photos from their project.
- TLA Mines - Traditional Learning Academy hosted an experimental Minecraft server to explore what kind of learning takes place in Minecraft. Their community-centric gameplay was structured by story-oriented quests.
